Hanoi [Vietnam], June 26: After the breakup, Ho Quang Man focused on raising his daughter. In addition, he arranged to participate in film projects to fulfill his passion for art.
After the breakup, Ho Quang Man balanced work and childcare. Sharing with us, the actor said he always teaches his children independence from the smallest things in life. Every day, after his children go to school, the 70s-era actor chooses to recharge his energy by exercising. Afterward, he cleans, cooks, and then takes time to attend acting classes .
"On days when I'm not filming, life goes on quite regularly. But when I have filming schedules far away or overnight, I ask relatives to help take care of the baby. Since having a child, I've almost completely stopped the habit of going out at night. If I have work, meetings with partners, friends, or the crew, I usually try to arrange it during the day so that I can be home with my child in the evening," he shared.
Ho Quang Man believes that what children need is not extravagant gifts, but the presence of loved ones. Therefore, he always tries to balance his role as a father and his work outside the home. When working far away, the actor maintains the habit of calling and talking to his children.
"Initially, my child didn't like it when I was often away filming or not at home. But gradually, as she understood that it was my job and responsibility, she became more understanding. That touched me deeply," he shared. Currently, Ho Quang Man's greatest happiness is seeing his daughter grow up, learn to care for others, and understand his work. For him, that is more valuable than any achievements she may have.
Looking back, Ho Quang Man admitted that the journey of fatherhood wasn't always easy. He confided, "I think everyone's life has things that aren't truly perfect. What I care about now is how to ensure my child grows up in love and peace."
According to Ho Quang Man, life doesn't always go the way we want it to. Therefore, he learned to accept things and focus on the good things present in his life today. "Of course, there will be times when I feel pressured having to handle many things at once. But that feeling usually doesn't last long. Just seeing my children healthy, happy, and safe gives me more motivation to keep going," he said.
Ho Quang Man's new role
Besides fulfilling his role as a father, Ho Quang Man said he always strives to excel whenever given the opportunity to participate in acting roles. Recently, the 70s-born actor attracted attention for his participation in the film "CM12 Plan " - a work produced by the People's Police Film Studio. Although not appearing throughout, his character is considered an important link in the antagonist storyline, contributing to the dramatic intellectual battles.
The actor said he spent a lot of time researching historical materials and the character's psychology before participating in the project. "I was both excited and pressured. The historical context of the film requires actors to thoroughly research in order to portray the character convincingly. I read the entire script even though I only appeared in a few episodes. Only when I understood what the character had gone through could I express the feelings of someone who had failed after a confrontation with the People's Public Security forces," he said.
