Sharjah [UAE], May 16: NouraAlblooshi, Acting General Manager at Emirates Institute of Finance, said that the Ithraa Career Fair provides an ideal platform for the participating private entities to meet with national cadres specialising in areas related to banking, insurance, exchange and financing companies.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Alblooshi said the event is part of the "Ithraa Programme", launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Court, Chairman of the Central Bank of the UAE, which aims to employ and train 5,000 male and female Emiratis to occupy vital and leadership roles in the financial sectors by 2026.
The exhibition, which will run until May 18, comes in implementation of the Emirates Institute of Finance's strategic plan to support the Emiratisation efforts in the financial and banking sector, Alblooshi said.
"This comes in line with the directives of the UAE wise leadership that is keen on developing and qualifying Emirati cadres to lead the developmental drive in the next fifty years," she added.
She highlighted the advisory services provided by the exhibition in cooperation with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.
