Yangon [Myanmar], October 5: Myanmar police have arrested four suspected drug traffickers in Yangon region and Shan state, according to the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC).
Two suspects were arrested with 20,000 stimulant tablets in possession in an operation in Hmawbi township of Yangon region on Tuesday, the CCDAC said.
On the same day, one suspect was arrested in possession of 10,000 stimulant tablets in South Okkalapa township of Yangon region, it said.
Police also arrested one suspect carrying 2.177 kg of happy water in Tachileik township of Shan state, it said.
The suspects were charged under the country's Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, and further investigations were underway, it said.
