Yangon [Myanmar], June 18: Myanmar confirmed seven new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tally to 613,474, according to the Ministry of Health on Friday.
The ministry said it tested 5,438 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.13 percent.
The death toll from COVID-19 remained at 19,434 on Friday with no new deaths due to the pandemic reported in the country, it said.
An additional eight patients have recovered from COVID-19, raising the total number of recoveries to 592,480 in the Southeast Asian country.
Myanmar detected its first COVID-19 cases in March 2020.
