Yangon [Myanmar], November 7: Myanmar has vaccinated more than 37.4 million people for COVID-19 as of Saturday, showed the latest data from the Ministry of Health.
The vaccinated people include over 30.7 million people aged 18 and above, the ministry said.
On Sunday, the health ministry confirmed 45 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tally to 632,274.
According to it, health authorities tested 7,831 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.57 percent.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the country remained unchanged at 19,485 on Sunday with no new deaths reported from the pandemic.
The total number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country reached 606,485, including 92 new recoveries recorded on Sunday.
The Southeast Asian country detected its first COVID-19 cases in March 2020.
