President Zelensky hosts new British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting in Kiev

London [UK], August 6: The UK's new Defence Secretary Wes Streeting, visited Ukraine on Wednesday for the first time since taking over in the role.
In a post on X, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he and Streeting discussed how London and Kiev could jointly protect people who face "ballistic threats" from Russia.
The post was accompanied by a short video of Zelensky and Streeting shaking hands, before the pair are seen sitting opposite each other at a meeting. "It was a pleasure to welcome Wes Streeting to Kyiv for the first time," Zelensky wrote. (PA Media/dpa)
