Belgrade (Siberia), August 28: The current Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic got Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's nomination on Saturday to continue leading the government in another mandate.
Vucic confirmed that he proposed Brnabic to the parliament as the prime minister candidate at a press conference in Belgrade, saying that "it is very important that she remains Prime Minister in order to continue and work diligently on solving current problems and those that await us in the coming period."
"I proposed Ana Brnabic to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia as a candidate for Prime Minister, with full confidence that, as before, she will continue to work with full commitment and loyalty to Serbia," Vucic said.
The coalition around the ruling Serbian Progressive Party led by Vucic won 120 out of 250 MP seats at the April 3 parliamentary elections and was expected to join strengths with its previous coalition partner Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) to form the new government.
