Washington DC [US], July 3: Electric car manufacturer Tesla reported on Thursday that its deliveries in the second quarter of 2026 rose by nearly 25%.
The company said it delivered 480,126 vehicles, up from 384,122 in the same period last year, which was above analysts' expectations of just under 400,000 deliveries.
According to the figures, Tesla's production in the second quarter stood at 451,758 cars, which was also higher than in the same period last year.
Tesla said it will report second-quarter financial results on July 22.
The news was initially well received on the financial markets, with shares trading at about $428.66, up 0.74%.
