Hanoi [Vietnam], May 9: Singer Dong Hung, whose voice caused a sensation during the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, has officially confirmed his participation in 'Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles'.
On the evening of May 8th, Dong Hung was one of five "talents" confirmed by the producers of "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles " to participate in season 2 of the show. On his personal page, the 33-year-old singer also shared this information with his fans. He shared that since watching the "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" concert on May 4th, he was impressed by the amazing energy at the event, the camaraderie between the artists and thousands of audience members, creating a big family. Dong Hung is known as one of the leading talented singers of the 90s generation in Vietnamese music, with a solid professional foundation. Born in 1993, he began his career in 2012 after winning the Promising Singer award at the Sao Mai Rendezvous competition , impressing with his powerful voice and signature pop-rock style.
In 2024, the male singer made a significant mark with his transition to musical theater, winning a Silver Medal at the National Music and Dance Festival for his role as Chí Pheo in the play " Chí Pheo's Dream" . In 2025, Đong Hùng made a splash when he and Vo Hạ Trâm performed the song " Continuing the Story of Peace" at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam (A50) and the national program series " Homeland in My Heart" .
Participating in the second season of "Brothers Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles ," Dong Hung doesn't hide his ambition to "confront" his own ego in order to seek change. Huynh Lap shared that he was "excited and extremely curious." The male artist said that the opening solo performance is a unique version exclusively for " Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles 2026."
Meanwhile, Mew Amazing sees "Brotherhood Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles 2026" as an opportunity to find new brothers and reinvent himself. The music producer revealed that he has spent a lot of time practicing dance moves and performance skills that he had never touched before.
