Tunis (Tunisia), January 26: The Tunisian health ministry announced on Monday new measures for arrivals from abroad in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
Starting from Feb. 1, all arrivals must present a negative PCR test result within 72 hours before take-off, and take a compulsory quarantine for seven days in one of the designated centers, it said.
Another PCR test will be requested on the seventh day of the quarantine. If the result is negative, they may leave the center and shall fully comply with the general preventive measures.
The ministry also decided to maintain the ban on flights to and from the countries where the new strains of COVID-19 become highly prevalent.
