Tunis (Tunisia), June 15: Tunisian President Kais Saied met on Tuesday with visiting United Arab Emirates (UAE) State Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan to discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties.
During the meeting, Saied expressed his thanks for the UAE's support for Tunisia in various fields, the Tunisian presidency said in a statement.
Saied noted Tunisia is willing to build promising partnerships with the UAE and make new investments in the country, the statement added.
For his part, Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan said the UAE is fully ready to explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment in Tunisia in areas of common interests.
